Once on a crispy morning in October Mrs. Nawara’s class was surprised to find out that they were going to celebrate Pumpkin Day! Pumpkin Day is a day that our school celebrates fall and learning about pumpkins. We learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin and if a pumpkin sinks or floats. For fun we made mini catapults for a candy pumpkin. The second thing we did was make a tower of gum drops and toothpicks. Then, close to the end of the school day we chose a pumpkin and gutted our pumpkins. It was the best day CVCS has had in a long, long, time, due to COVID-19.

Setup a tour of our school.
