Church Outreach to Albany SDA

This article is brought to you today by a fourth grade student about a recent school event at the Albany Seventh-day Adventist Church on March 16.

On March 16, 2019 Central Valley Christian School went to Albany SDA Church to help with their church service. First their was announcements and then my class, the grades 3-5 class, sang three songs. We sang, "All in All", "Lord I Lift Your Name on High", and "Humble Thyself/Awesome God".

Next, all the kids watched a skit for children's story, done by Mr. Kelley's grades 6-8 class. The story was about how we should not be critical of one another. After that a 2nd grader and 6th grader had prayer.

Mrs. Bates' grades K-2 class presented a bible verse and song for a special feature. Then my class had a special feature too. We presented a reader's theater about counting your blessings with a mural of pictures to illustrate. Next, a 7th grade student was baptized by Pastor Steve.

Afterwards, an 8th grade student presented the sermon about silence. My class sang the closing song, "Rescuer". And we all were happy we got to do that for the Albany Church.
